Franklin Performance Chassis Punch & Dimple Die Combo

Franklin Performance Chassis Punch & Dimple Die Combo

Chassis Punches, also known as a screw punch or a knockout punch are used to easily punch holes in sheet metal. A smaller hole is pre-drilled into the material and then the chassis punch used to enlargen the hole.

Cutting capacity:

  • Aluminium, brass, copper: 4.0mm
  • Mild steel 3.0mm
  • Stainless steel 1.5mm

Dimple dies are used to improve the strength and appearance of a panel by flaring an existing hole made by a Chassis Punch in sheet metal up to 1/8" or 3mm thick.

The dies work great in a press or ironworker, and the smaller sizes can also be used with a nut & bolt on lighter steel or aluminium.

Both the Chassis Punches and Dimple Dies are made from high strength alloy steel and have a heat treatment with a unique oil impregnation to prevent corrosion, both are built to last a lifetime.
